The Pembina Trails Voices
and a new work by Sid Robinovitch

Welcome to a reimagined 2020/21 season! The pandemic has taught us to expect the unexpected, so while we hope to offer more concerts to smaller audience groups in airy surroundings, we know that plans may change with little notice. Our October concert takes place at Eckhardt Hall at the WAG. All spring concerts are at Westminster Church, unless changing circumstances compel venue relocation. Of course, we’ll comply with all health-related protocols — and we can’t wait to see you!

1:00 7:30  Wednesday, 14 April 2021 / One of Manitoba’s most cherished composers is Sid Robinovitch, whose highly original blend of folk, jazz, and contemporary classical earns him accolades far beyond our province. The MCO has asked Sid to compose an oratorio based on the story of Jonah, with the popular Pembina Trails Singers performing. At this concert, we premiere this exciting piece and present other classic chamber orchestra works.
