Anne Manson, who has worked and recorded with Philip Glass, has planned an all-Glass program with pianist Michael Riesman, director of the Philip Glass Ensemble. MCO will record this repertoire for a compact disc on the Orange Mountain Music label.

Anne Manson presents pianist Stewart Goodyear, who last performed with the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra 20 years ago, when he was just twelve years old! He'll premiere his own new piano concerto, Eclipse.

Quebec composer Serge Arcuri is MCO's first ever composer-in-residence. Guest conductor Scott Yoo and Karl Stobbe will introduce his work to Winnipeg, with Episodes.

As we said, Anne Manson does a fair bit of work in Spain, and this has shaped two concerts for this season. Cellist Asier Polo will perform Haydn and Boccherini concertos; also, more music from composer-in-residence Serge Arcuri.
